Always linked to the home appliances sector, exclusively dedicated to the commercialization of household products at national level, Corporación Electrónica Internacional S.A.C. began in 1972 in Surquillo´s district, under the name of MOVIPEC, where handled small household products.
Thanks to the effort and trust of our customers, after several years of knowing a little more about the appliances market, we moved toe the Civic Center, near the historic center of Lima, where we began to sell kitchen appliances, audio/video of major brands such as Samsung, Philips, JVC, Goldstar, Inresa, Original Electric, etc.
EIn 1993 and with more experience in the commercial area. we changed our name to Comercial Achong E.I.R.L., in a large warehouse in Nicólas de Pierola Avenue, where besided commercializing domestic electrical appliances and audio/video, we started to import brands such as Sony, Panasonic, Samsung and LG.
After experiencing a groth in sales and customers, in 1996 the company open new locations , the first one in Abancay Avenue and the second one on Jirón de la Unión, in order to expand the warehouse and supply retailers and wholesalers customers in a national level.
In 2003, we changed our name again to Corporación Electrónica Internacional S.A.C., acquiring a building/warehouse to be able to supply the high market demand, expanding our range of products such as textile, children´s item and household products, we also introduced our brands such as Nikko (audio/video, ventilation and refrigeration), Sears (ventilation and refrigeration), Garza (textile), Micom (video), Teknik-a (audio/video and ventilation) and Dragon-Fly (Children).
